Air conditioning components and their role
Car air conditioning consists of four main components:
- Compressor: the heart of the system, driven by the car engine. Its generator is a refrigerant compressor (gas for air conditioning, e.g. R134a or R1234yf), which causes its pressure and temperature to increase.
- Condenser: a device at the front of the car, behind the radiator. The compressed refrigerant provides heat for heating and condensation, securing the state from gas to liquid.
- Expansion valve: fixed the controller, refrigerant to the evaporator. Reduced efficiency, which leads to its evaporation and results.
- Evaporator: located in the car cabins. The liquid refrigerant evaporates in it, taking heat from the air, lowering the temperature in the cabin.
How does air conditioning work?
- Compression: Radiator compressor, raising pressure and temperature.
- Condensation: Compressed ratio hits condenser, where it releases heat and changes state from gas to liquid.
- Expansion: Liquid controller flows through expansion valve, where its pressure drops, causing it to evaporate and cool.
- Evaporation: Cooled headlight goes to evaporator, where it extracts heat from air, lowering temperature in cabin.
- Ventilation: Fan blows cooled air into cabin through vents.
Additional air conditioning functions
- Recuperation: in cars it can be equipped with recuperation function, i.e. heat from air blown in cabins, which causes damage.
- Moisture removal: air conditioning that removes air in cabin, condenses moisture on condenser and discharges it outside.
- Electronic control: modern systems monitoring temperature, humidity and other parameters that automatically affect external and external conditions.
- Required temperature: the air conditioning is automatically regulated to the set temperature in the cabin.
- Multi-zone: depending on the car model, the air conditioning can be single-, two-, three- or four-zone.
Why is it worth using the help?
The key controllers are the refrigeration controller (air conditioning gas). For this reason, it can be used due to leaks or natural effects. In such a situation, it is necessary to use a refrigerant. You can do it yourself by purchasing a car air conditioning refill kit. If a leak is detected, it is worth using a kit with a switch, which can help solve the problem of the part.
Regular care for safety, including the presence of a refrigerant, ensures its effect and travel comfort all year round.
